SC-internship
This tremendous opportunity is available, exclusively, to graduates of our Phase II (Open Water Scuba Instructor) and/or Phase III (Resort Operations Specialist) Programs.

The internship is for four to six weeks. Instructors are responsible for their own flights over and leaving from Fort Lauderdale is obviously very convenient. Housing is provided. It is staff housing and in some cases, depending on the number of interns and staff one may have to share a room. A big Bahamian-style lunch is provided too.

Interns are expected to work six days a week, with the work day starting at 8 AM and concluding around 4:30-5:00 PM. The last group of interns that went down there decided to work on some of their days off too!

You don’t get paid, but you do get to keep your tips – this may be pooled amongst staff working together as crew on a dive trip. Stuart Cove’s also provides you with store-sponsored professional liability insurance so that you can teach. You can then start earning some certifications which count towards your Master Scuba Diver Trainer rating.
