New Compressor and Fill Station!

The new compressor and fill station are officially up and operating! Sea Experience is excited to be able to fill up to 20 air or enriched air nitrox scuba tanks at a time with this awesome custom built water cooled Bauer compressor with membrane system. We are banking 32% enriched air nitrox but are able to mix custom blends up to 40% as well. Call or visit the shop for individual fill and multi-fill card prices and ask for a tour, we are excited to show it off!

New PADI Professionals graduate from Sea Experience!

The staff of Sea Experience Diving Schools send out a big congratulations to Brian Kadle of New Mexico and Amy Parkinson of the UK on earning the PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor rating on March 10 2013. Congratulations also go to James Frazier of New Mexico for earning the PADI Assistant Instructor rating and to Arie Derzavich for reaching the PADI IDC Staff Instructor level! We have a couple great classes going on during the week of Thanksgiving. You can join us on Tuesday, November 20th, for an evening DAN Oxygen Provider course starting at 6 and going until 8pm.

Heading to Las Vegas for DEMA!

The DEMA Show will be held November 14th through November 17th at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Bill, Tyler and Pam will be heading west for the show and will arrive just in time for “PADI Live!” on Tuesday afternoon, November 13th. Dr Drew Richardson, the CEO of PADI Worldwide will be a speaker and the evening will end with a Member Social. DEMA is an annual professional scuba diver trade show who’s mission statement is:
” To promote sustainable growth in safe recreational diving and snorkeling while protecting the underwater environment”. This four day event is a great time for us to check out what’s new in the industry, market Sea Experience and diving Fort Lauderdale and catch up with friends old and new from around the world. If you are attending DEMA please visit us at booth #2727, next to the PADI section. If you can’t make it to DEMA, stop by the shop when we get back and we will fill you in on all the new equipment finds and exciting things we learned while in Vegas! Sea Experience will be open normal hours and the boats will be going out, so make your reservations now!

Boat Show Blow Out!!!

The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is here!! We aren’t able to run any trips Thursday through Sunday due to the Boat Show madness and the big man upstairs is out of the country, so we are discounting EVERYTHING in the dive shop! We plan to have this place empty by the time he gets back, COME HELP US!!! We are also having daily raffles with giveaways like a free dive trip, mask and snorkel, fins and booties, and even a BCD!! If you are present for the drawing, you even get an extra special gift!! Also, if you sign up for any diving course and put down a deposit, you will also get either discounts or free specialties. Lets put our bartering skills to the test and play while the boss is gone!!

A Great Proposal!

Alana bid in a silent auction and won a 3-hour trip aboard Sea Experience. The trip included a 2-tank dive and 30 friends to go along with her. She called us with her requests on dates and times. Little did she know, that all of this was already planned out by Kevin! She boards the trip thinking its gonna be a fun-filled day with her closest friends and family! They get out to the ocean and first stop off at Fort Lauderdale Twin Ledges, then head to the Jacks. As they are coming back up from the second dive, all their friends are looking and watching them very intently. Kevin writes sweet nothings on a white slate to Alana and then proceeds to pull out a large white banner, asking “Will you marry me?” They surface from the dive, with friends in tears, and see the boat completely decorated in Congratulations!!

One of the best proposals we have seen here at Sea Experience. Congratulations to the happy couple, we wish you the absolute best!!
